Killer Left Chilling Note, The gunman who killed two firefighters in an ambush yesterday in this drowsy town on the shores of Lake Ontario expressed a passion for killing and a desire to destroy as much of his neighbourhood as possible, the police said today.

According to Yahoo The gunman, identified as William Spengler, 62, left behind a chilling typewritten note recovered by investigators, Gerald L. Pickering, the police chief in Webster, told reporters today. Chief Pickering, who described the writing as rambling, read just a portion of the note: "I still have to get ready to see how much of the neighbourhood I can burn down and do what I like doing best ' killing people."

Trojan Horse Cancer Strategy: Trojan-horse therapy 'completely eliminates' cancer in mice.

An experimental "Trojan-horse" cancer therapy has completely eliminated prostate cancer in experiments on mice, according to UK researchers.

The team hid cancer killing viruses inside the immune system in order to sneak them into a tumour.

Once inside, a study in the journal Cancer Research showed, tens of thousands of viruses were released to kill the cancerous cells.

Ryan Freel Found Dead

Ryan Freel found dead from a self- inflicted shotgun blast in his Jacksonville home. Former Major League Baseball player was 36 years old.

According to the Fox News the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office was investigating the death as a suicide.

Freel, who grew up in Jacksonville, played eight seasons in the majors from 2001-09 with Toronto, Cincinnati, Baltimore, the Chicago Cubs and Kansas City.

Larry L. King Dies


Larry L. King, a writer and playwright whose magazine article about a campaign to close down a popular bordello became a hit Tony Award-nominated musical "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" and a movie starring Burt Reynolds, dies at 83.

His wife, Barbara Blaine, said King died after battling emphysema at Chevy Chase House, a retirement home in Washington where he had been living the past six months. "One of the things that I will always remember about Larry is that he remained funny all the way through this illness," she said.

Human skulls deliberately warped into strange, alien-like shapes have been unearthed in a 1,000-year-old cemetery in Mexico.

It is believed that they were deliberately deformed by a common practice in Central America in the past, whereby children's skulls would be warped as they grew.

The find in the small village of Onavas, Mexico, does mean that the strange tradition was practiced much further north than initially known, however.
